GA Telesis and Air China named Mark Atkeson, General Manager of GA Innovation China (“GAIC”), a subsidiary of Air China and GA Telesis, LLC

Beijing, China – GA Telesis and Air China named Mark Atkeson, General Manager of GA Innovation China (“GAIC”), a subsidiary of Air China and GA Telesis, LLC. Effective immediately Mark will oversee the launch of the new company’s organization, operations and business in China and Asia.
“Mark brings an abundance of direct knowledge and experience to GAIC,” said Abdol Moabery, CEO of GA Telesis. “His twenty years managing and investing in businesses in China, including aircraft engine overhaul and repair and aviation industry manufacturing, will strengthen the foundation of our business there.”
Mark held executive positions for five years at Pratt & Whitney in China, representing them in a partnership with Air China to develop engine overhaul operations at AMECO and leading Pratt & Whitney’s construction of a manufacturing facility together with Aviation Industries of China. Mark worked for the last five years as Senior Vice President China for Coda Automotive, where he led the operations and manufacturing launch in China for large scale battery pack and vehicle products. Prior to that he served as General Manager reporting to Asian Strategic Investments Corporation where he guided the turnaround of a fuel injection components manufacturing business serving all major producers of diesel engines in China. Mark’s positive track record in China investments includes his founding of a venture fund which profitably exited portfolio companies in mobile telecom. Mark’s fluency in Chinese allows him to establish personal connections with key local customers and decision makers.
